"Holm Away From Home" is the first film from Rob Federighi's Lucca Productions.
Doug Holm is a logging truck driver in his mid-30's who has never left the comfort of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Dave is a socialite from downtown Chicago who agreed to take a trip to the U.P., learn about some of their culture, and expose Doug to big city life in Chicago.
The film is not only a hilarious display of life in the U.P. and how this fish out of water reacts to the city experience, but also a poignant look at the significance of "home" to each of us.
